Magic Porcelain Chip Fix quickly and easily repairs chips, cracks and scratches on porcelain, ceramic, and enamel surfaces including sinks, tubs and tile.

Additional Supplies Needed: Safety glasses, rubber gloves, #400/#600 grit sand paper, abrasive cleaner like Comet® or Ajax®, scrubbing pad, paper towel, lacquer thinner. Brands are registered trademarks of the manufacturers.

Directions:

  1. Surface Preparation: Sand chip to smooth edges, clean surface with abrasive cleaner and scrubbing pad to ensure proper adhesion. Rinse thoroughly, dry with paper towel, and allow to air dry for one hour.
  2. Epoxy Preparation: Empty contents of both vials of product into mixing tray (i.e. plastic packaging containing product). Mix thoroughly for 1 minute. Pour half of mixture into a second container and store in freezer for later use. Let other half stand for 30 minutes at room temperature.
  3. Application: Use included brush to dab a light coat into chip. Wipe away runs with a damp paper towel. Wait 45 minutes. Clean brush with lacquer thinner. Apply a second coat. Allow surface to dry for 24 hours before using. If temperature is below 70°F (21°C) or humidity is above 50%, allow more drying time up to 72 hours.

For Best Results: Apply multiple light coats. If more coats are needed, remove stored mixture from freezer (let stand for 10 minutes at room temperature prior to applying).

Working Time: 1 hour at room temperature. 6 hours in freezer.

Cleaning: Wait 5 days before cleaning surface. Use only non-abrasive cleaners.

Yes, the plastic piece of the packaging can be used as the mixing tray.

Suministros Adicionales Necesarios: papel de lija de grano 400/600, limpiador abrasivo como Comet® o Ajax®, estropajo, papel de cocina y disolvente de laca. Las marcas son marcas registradas de los fabricantes.

Instrucciones:

  1. Preparación de la Superficie: lije el desconchado para suavizar los bordes, limpie la superficie con un limpiador abrasivo y un estropajo para asegurar una adhesión correcta. Aclare completamente, seque con papel de cocina y deje secar en el aire para una hora.
  2. Preparación de la Epoxy: vacíe el contenido de los dos viales de producto en la bandeja para mezclar (es decir, el envoltorio de plástico que contiene el producto). Mezcle completamente durante 1 minuto. Eche la mitad de la mezcla en otro recipiente y guárdela en el congelador para usarla posteriormente. Para unos resultados óptimos: aplique varias capas ligeras. Si hacen falta más capaz retire la mezcla guardada en el congelador (déjela reposar 10 minutos antes de aplicarla). Tiempo de funcionamiento: 1 hora a temperatura ambiente. 6 horas en el congelador.

Limpieza: espere 5 días antes de limpiar la superficie. Use limpiadores no abrasivos.
